After a long break, we are happy to finally present some fresh stuff on Vectorama.org. «Meccano», the mechanical building system for kids invented at the beginning of the last century (in Switzerland also sold under the name «Stockys») was the source of inspiration for a couple of design experiments by Vectorama.org member Rafael Koch. He now compilied a set of libraries and backgrounds for use on Vectorama.org. Let us play heavy-metal!

On the occasion of the first anniversary of Lucernes «Treibhaus», a location hosting concerts, designer Erich Brechbuehl was creating a set of print-products. The three items; a poster, a flyer and an invitation card were designed in a session on Vectorama.org. We always enjoy seeing Vectorama.org graphics in use on printed matter too!

SURIMONO OF AKI

It's quite a while, since we featured the crazy world of japanese illustrator Akinori Oishi. Now, the Dutch designer Harmen Liemburg was silkscreening a remix edition of his thiny figures, origin arranged for a poster for Plugin, Basel. The poster was shown at 'days of mumble' in Amsterdam an by now in our living room in lucerne. Cool and many thanks!

Each year, the «TDC» features 'printed matters' for typographic exellence. Vectorama.org were awarded for a contribution in the austrian «+rosebudmagazine». Now Vectorama.org is very certified by the establishment and thinks thats fun! Many thanks to all the people wich were involved, especially Ralf Herms the publisher of «+rosebud».
